Welcome

It’s with great pleasure that we invite you to our AVA Spring Meeting in the vibrant city of Manchester. Many of you will be looking forward to this meeting already, and on behalf of the organising committee we will do all we can to make this a memorable experience.

As always, our AVA programme will impress, with our speakers providing interesting thoughts and perspective from a medical and veterinary background. The Pre-Congress Day makes the experience accessible for everyone with either an interest or wanting an update in the subject area. The topic will be ‘Chronic Pain’, this is relevant for residents, nurses and general practitioners and anyone interested in chronic pain. For the main conference days we have wonderful speakers who have travelled to share their experience and knowledge.

AVA is known for its outstanding social programme, and we are in no doubt that Manchester will continue this tradition, from the Welcome Reception on the 23rd floor of the landmark Beetham Tower, through to the Gala Dinner at the Museum of Science and Industry.
